PITTSBURGH, PA - Four additional measles cases have been confirmed in the Pittsburgh area, the Allegheny County Health Department announced Thurday. That brings the total number of confirmed cases in the county to five.

Exposure to measles may have occurred at:

  • Pittsburgh International Airport, 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on April 16.
  • Enterprise Rent-A-Car (2260 Babcock Boulevard, Ross) from 2-5 p.m. on May 1.

The first reported case of measles in the Pittsburgh area was reported Tuesday. The adult individual, who is not vaccinated, recently traveled internationally, so the case is not considered to be connected to any ongoing measles outbreak in the U.S.
