New Fast-Food Restaurant Chain Coming To Pittsburgh

A growing national chain plans to open two initial locations in the Pittsburgh area. Find out here where they will be located.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A fast-food restaurant specializing in chicken finger meals is arriving in the Pittsburgh area.

Raising Cane's first will open on Fifth Avenue in Oakland on the University of Pittsburgh campus and near various UPMC operation. In late October, the chain will open its second restaurant on Lincoln Highway.

In addition to various chicken finger meal combos, the restaurant menu also features chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Cane's sauce, Texas toast and coleslaw.

Raising Cane's said it plans to hire 200 crew members to staff the two new restaurants. The starting pay is $15 an hour.
