No New Coronavirus Deaths In Allegheny County

Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA - There were no new Allegheny County coronavirus deaths on Saturday, the county health department announced Sunday. The death toll in the county during the outbreak remains at 143.

The number of coronavirus cases climbed to 1,603, up from 1,595 on Saturday and 1,582 on Friday.

There were no new coronavirus hospitalizations on Saturday. Two hundred and ninety two people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak thus far.

With 518 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 423 in Westmoreland County, 202 in Butler County and 130 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county southwestern Pennsylvania region to 2,876. That's up from 2,865 on Saturday and 2,844 on Friday.

According to the state Department of Health, there have now been been 268 coronavirus deaths
thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and forty-three in in Allegheny County, 83 in Beaver County, 32 in Westmoreland County, six in Butler County and four in Washington County. There were no new deaths on Saturday.
