One New Coronavirus Death In Allegheny County
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA - For the first time in three days, the Allegheny County Health Department reported a new death from the coronavirus Tuesday. The death toll in the county during the outbreak now stands at 144.
The number of coronavirus cases climbed to 1,658, up from 1,641 on Monday and 1,603 on Sunday.
Three hundred and four people people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak, up from 294 on Monday and 292 on Sunday .

With 533 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 432 in Westmoreland County, 203 in Butler County and 133 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 2,949. That's up from2,919 on Monday and 2,876 on
Sunday.
The state Department of Health has released revised death statistics for the outbreak. The department now says 288 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred forty-four in Allegheny County, 70 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 12 in Butler County and four in Washington County.
