One New Coronavirus Death In Southwestern PA
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA — There were no new coronavirus deaths in Allegheny County on Friday,
the county health department announced Saturday. The death toll in the county during the outbreak remains at 151.
There was one additional coronavirus death in southwestern Pennsylvania.
The number of coronavirus cases in the county climbed to 1,897, up from 1,870 on Friday and 1,851 on Thursday.

Three hundred and forty people people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak, up from 336 on Friday and 331 on Thursday.
With 582 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 444 in Westmoreland County, 227 in Butler County and 139 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 3,269. That's up from 3,257 on Friday and 3,221 on Thursday.

According to the state Department of Health, 279 people have died thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and fifty-one in Allegheny County, 73 in Beaver County, 38 in Westmoreland County, 12 in Butler County and five in Washington County. That's up from 278 on Friday, with the additional death occurring in Beaver County.
