Pittsburgh 2023 Thanksgiving Takeout Meals Don't Come Cheap
Care to have someone else cook your Turkey Day meal but still dine at home? Prepare to pay for the privilege.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Patch already has covered which Pittsburgh residents will be open on Thanksgivingif you desire to dine out for the holiday. But what if you want to enjoy the family atmosphere and football at home but still want someone else to do the cooking?
You'll likely need your credit card.
Though the menus are impressive, the prices are expensive at the following Pittsburgh restaurants offering takeout packages:

- Grand Concourse, Station Square: The Thanksgiving feast serving 10-12 includes a 20-pound whole turkey, whipped potatoes, homemade gravy, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, candied sweet potatoes, marinated vegetable salad, roasted vegetable medley, house-made bread, pumpkin pie and pecan pie. Your cost: $325. Orders must be placed by Nov. 19, with pickup on Nov. 22 and Thanksgiving morning.
- Braddock's Rebellion, Downtown: The Renaissance Hotel restaurant is offering a to-go dinner that serves six people and includes a 14-pound herb dry-brined roasted turkey, a salad (tossed, Caesar or roasted beet), a potato (roasted sweet potatoes,buttermilk mashed potatoes or herb-roasted red potatoes), six sides and a dessert. The cost: $168. Orders must be placed by Nov. 16, with pickup on Nov. 22.
- Black Radish, various locations: Their BYO turkey menu offers a variety of side dishes that feed 8-10 people. The sides include old school mashy potatoes, gravy,sweet potato gratin with brown butter pecan bread crumb, green bean casserole, bleu cheese bread pudding stuffin, cranberry orange and rosemary jam, onion fennel focaccia, sesame seed and roasted shallot butter, broccoli pomegranate and pistachio salad with sesame seeds and lemon vin, gem lettuce chive buttermilk vin, ancho chili oil, and popped amaranth. The cost is $350 and Black Radish will deliver.
- fl. 2, Downtown: This Fairmont Pittsburgh hotel restaurant offers a 10- or 20-pound turkey for $130 or $210, respectively. A variety of sides are available for additional costs. Orders must be placed by Nov. 17, with pick-up on Nov. 22 and 23.
- Fogo de Chao, Downtown: The Brazilian steakhouse offers a meal offers a meal for six that includes roasted turkey au ju, Brazilian holiday sides, pao de queijo and fudge brownies. The cost is $180 but numerous other a la carte options are available. Orders must be placed at least 24 hours before pick-up.
Less expensive meal options are available at these Pittsburgh grocery stores:
- Whole Foods, various locations: Offering a roast whole turkey dinner for four for $99 or for eight for $169.99. A Thanksgiving feast for 12 will set you back $399.
- Giant Eagle, various locations: Has various turkey dinners serving up to six and ranging in price from $69.99 to :99.
