Pittsburgh Airport To Auction Off Vehicles, Many Other Items
Nearly 300 items will be available Saturday at the airport's annual auction of unclaimed and surplus items.

FINDLAY TOWNSHIP, PA — Nearly two dozen vehicles and hundreds of other items will be available Saturday at Pittsburgh International Airport's annual auction of unclaimed and surplus items.
Auction attendees also will find an assortment of jewelry, electronic equipment, clothing and office supplies.
The vehicles typically garner the most attention at the event. Among the available ones are a 2019 Lexus GS 640; a 2016 Ford Explorer Limited; a 2016 Dodge Journey SXT and a 2015 Kia Sportage LX 4WD. There's also a 1999 Honda Accord that, frankly, does not appear to be in the best of shape.

Oh, and if you're looking for a tractor, the airport has a surplus Ford 930 Versatile that comes with a spiffy-looking sweeper attachment.
You'll also find an assortment of electronic tablets, iPhones and Android phones, laptops. Apple watches and air pods, a mini-keyboard, headphones and quite a collection of costume jewelry. See the full auction list here.

The auction will be held in the Heavy Equipment Building on Cargo Road. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., with the first bid set to begin at 10 a.m.
Bidding will be in-person only. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds. All items are “as is.” There will be a 15 percent buyer’s premium with 5 percent waived for cash or check purchase. Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted. Payment must be made in full at time of auction to the cashier.
Proceeds from the sale of surplus authority equipment goes to the airport, while money from the sale of lost and found items is given to the Allegheny County Airport Authority Charitable Foundation.
