Pittsburgh-Area Brewery With Caliente Pizza Connection Opens
The wife of the Calienta Pizza chain owner will own and operate a brewery in the Pittsburgh area.
GIBSONIA, PA — A brewery with a familial tie to the Pittsburgh-based Caliente Pizza and Draft House chain has opened on Gibsonia Road.
Dough Daddy Brewery is owned by Angie Bogacz, the wife of Caliente Pizza owner Nick Bogacz.
"We're thrilled to introduce a unique lineup of brews that reflect our commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering unforgettable experiences to our patrons," Angie Bogacz said in a release. "The taproom will feature 10 plus Dough Daddy offerings including six everyday offerings that will be available year round."

"Caliente was founded on hand-crafted pizza and craft beer," Nick Bogacz said in a statement. "It's only natural that Angie expands the Caliente family into a brewery."
Caliente has locations in Bloomfield, Hampton, Mount Lebanon, Aspinwall, Monroeville, Sewickley and Crafton.

Dough Daddy will offer Sicilian-style pizzas and other fare to complement the beer selection, Angie Bogacz said.
Dough Daddy is located in the tasting room and beer garden previously occupied by Strange Roots, which will continue to brew its beer there and operate its taprooms in Millvale and New Kensington.
