Pittsburgh-Area Coronavirus Deaths, Cases Continue To Rise
Here are the latest coronavirus case statistics for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Coronavirus has now claimed the lives 0f 55 people in Allegheny
County, the county health department announced Monday. That's up from 50 on Sunday on 47 on Saturday.
The number of confirmed or probable coronavirus cases in the county was 1,042 as of 11 a.m. Monday. That's up from 1,036 on Sunday and 1,009 on Saturday.
One hundred and eighty people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak, the same as on Sunday and up from 178 on Saturday.

With 288 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 284 in Westmoreland County, 161 in Butler County and 82 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county southwestern Pennsylvania region to 1,857 as of Monday. That's up from 1,782 on Sunday and 1,668 on Saturday
According to the state Department of Health, there have now been been 110 coronavirus deaths thus far in the five-county region: Fifty-five in Allegheny County, 32 in Beaver County, 16 in Westmoreland County, five in Butler County and two in Washington County. That's up from 101 on Sunday and 81 on Saturday.

According to state Department of Health figures, Allegheny County has recorded the ninth-most coronavirus cases in the state behind Berks, Bucks, Delaware, Lehigh, Luzerene, Montgomery, Northampton and Philadelphia counties.
All Pennsylvania counties remain under a stay-at-home order through at least April 30. Gov. Tom Wolf has ordered schools closed through the remainder of the academic year, and all non-life-sustaining businesses are closed indefinitely.
