Pittsburgh-Area Man Pleads Guilty To Killing Father, Aunt
The man stabbed his father and aunt to death in 2021.

GREENSBURG, PA — A Penn Township man has pleaded guilty to killing his father and aunt in November 2021.
Neal Hubish, 43, pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of first-degree murder and simple assault in connection with the stabbing deaths of his father, Arthur Hubish, 70, and his aunt, Maria Puskarich, 76.
After initially telling police on the day of the crime that he had been awakened by his father and aunt arguing and found them both lying on the floor, Hubish admitted to stabbing both.

With Hubish’s guilty plea of first-degree murder, he will serve automatic life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, in addition to 1-2 years for the simple assault conviction.
“While I can’t imagine the grief and pain this incident caused the relatives of the Hubish and
Puskarich family, I hope this action today brings justice for them," Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli said in a statement after the guilty plea.
