A Westmoreland County man is accused of killing his father and his aunt early Tuesday.

PENN TOWNSHIP, PA — A Westmoreland County man has been charged with homicide after allegedly stabbing his father and aunt to death early Tuesday. Neal Hubish, 41, allegedly killed Arthur Hubish, 70, and Maria Puskarich, 76.

The stabbings occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Burrell Hill Road, near Route 130. Hubish was pronounced dead at the scene and Puskarich died en route to the hospital, police said.

After initially telling police that he had been awakened by his father and aunt arguing and found them both lying on the floor, Neal Hubish admitted to stabbing both, Westmoreland County District Attorney John Peck said at a news conference Tuesday morning.
