Pittsburgh Bar Declared Nuisance, Shut Down
The Nuisance Bar Task Force has closed a Pittsburgh tavern after receiving multiple complaints.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Ace's & Deuce's in the city's Uptown section has been closed after being raided Wednesday by the Nuisance Bar Task Force. The bar is on Fifth Avenue near PPG Paints Arena and Duquesne University.
Multiple complaints have been received about the bar, authorities said. Several guns were found inside during the raid, WPXI-TV reported.
For a bar to be closed as a nuisance, the business usually has had issues with one or more of the following: noise, loitering crowds, narcotic sales, gambling,prostitution, lewd behavior, disorderly conduct, garbage, the sale of liquor to minors, street crime and harassment.

The task force is a joint effort of the city police and fire bureaus, the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office, and Allegheny County Health Department and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board licensing and enforcement department.
