Pittsburgh Diocese Cancels Fish Fries
Add fish fries to the lengthy list of events scuttled by the coronavirus outbreak.
PITTSBURGH, PA - The Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh has canceled all fish fries and Stations of the Cross, in addition to the previously announced suspension of all weekday and weekend masses due to the coronavirus outbreak.
"My main priority and consideration with these decisions is for the safety and well being of our priests, deacons, parishoners and, indeed, the whole community," Bishop David Zubik said in a statement.
