OUTER SPACE — Even for an astronaut, it was not a typical workday for Warren "Woody" Hoburg.

The Pittsburgh native and fellow astronaut Steve Bowen had a six-hour spacewalk at the International Space Station as they installed power augmentation equipment and completed several preliminary tasks for their next spacewalk on June 15. The space station's electrical system is being upgraded to ensure the lab has sufficient power to support research until the station's planned retirement date in 203o.

The spacewalk was Bowen's ninth and Hoburg's first.
