Pittsburgh Predicted Snow Totals Revised Upward
The National Weather Service says more snow is on the way for Pittsburgh than previously predicted.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The National Weather Service has upped its predicted accumulation from the significant winter storm that will strike the region on Sunday into Monday.
The weather service now forecasts that the Pittsburgh metro area will receive 8 to 12 inches from the storm. That's up from a projected 6 to 8 inches on Friday morning.
All of Allegheny County except for the southernmost municipalities is now expected to receive that amount.

A winter storm watch remains in effect for all of Western Pennsylvania from 1 p.m. Sunday to 1 p.m. Monday.
