PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for Lounge 7101/2nd Time Around on Frankstown Avenue in Homewood for multiple health code violations.

A March 21 inspection found pasta, steak, macaroni and cheese and sliced tomatoes were being stored at unsafe warm temperatures. Fresh cut fries were found in stagnant water.

A mold-like substance was observed in the ice machine. Drain stoppers for a three-compartment sink were missing, so the eatery was unable to wash, rinse and sanitize equipment.

Loose rodent bait was found behind the kitchen equipment and in the basement.

The restaurant also has been operating without a valid health permit since September.
