Pittsburgh Steelers Player Draws Lengthy NFL Suspension
The NFL handed down punishment Monday to a veteran member of the Steelers. Get the details here.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The NFL has suspended Steelers cornerback Cam Sutton without pay for the first eight games of the season for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
The penalty, announced Monday, will prevent Sutton from suiting up for the Steelers until after the team's Oct. 29 game against the New York Giants.
The suspension was issued after an arrest warrant was issued for him following an alleged domestic violence incident in March. Sutton turned himself into authorities and reportedly entered a pretrial program on misdemeanor battery charges.
