PNC Park Workers End Strike
Some PNC Park workers who had planned to picket at Thursday's Pirates game will be working instead.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The union representing PNC Park ushers, ticket takers and ticket sellers has reached a tentative contract agreement with the Pirates and have called off a planned strike.
The work stoppage was announced Sunday by the Pittsburgh Stadium Independent Employees Union, but did not impact any games as the Pirates were on a road trip. Workers had planned to picket the team's next home game Thursday against the Cincinnati Reds.
"Strike averted - for now," a post on the union website stated. "At this time, please show up to work on Thursday."
