Popular Pittsburgh-Area Restaurant Abruptly Closes
A suburban Pittsburgh restaurant suddenly announced its closure on Monday.
NEW KENSINGTON, PA — SoCal Mexicali Grill, a popular restaurant in Westmoreland County, has suddenly closed.
The announcement was made via the eatery's Facebook page.
"Apologies for the sudden announcement, but SĹŤCal will be closing the doors indefinitely and effective immediately," owner Sean Watson posted.

"Thank you so much for the past two years of love and support. This wasn’t an easy decision but it is just not a viable option at this point to continue. I can act like I’m not sad but I really am. I loved it and many did. I’m very proud of the reviews and feedback that we got. I will cherish the memories and hope you do as well. With every door that closes, another one opens."
