
PITTSBURGH, PA - The Allegheny County Health Department has lifted a consumer alert for the Burgatory in the Waterworks near Aspinwall.
An inspection Thursday revealed a full tray of chicken parmesan and a colander of pasta sitting out at 73 degrees. Assorted cheeses were at 53-to 58 degrees, cut lettuce was at 63 degrees, hard boiled eggs at 45°F degrees and cut tomatoes at 60 degrees.
Food must be stored at a temperature no higher than 41 degrees.

Inspectors also found mouse droppings on the floor near the hot water tank and fruit flies in the mop sink area.

The consumer alert did not apply to Burgatory's other locations at The Waterfront, North Shore, Robinson, McCandless, Cranberry, Murryville, PPG Paints Arena and Heinz Field.
