Rapper Mac Miller's Official Cause Of Death Released
The Pittsburgh native was found unresponsive in his California home in September.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Rap star and Pittsburgh native Mac Miller died of mixed drug toxicity, the Los Angele County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office disclosed Monday. An autopsy revealed that Miller, whose real name was Malcolm McCormick, had a mix of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol in his body.
Miller, 26, was found unresponsive at his California home on Sept. 6. He reportedly had struggled with substance abuse issues in recent months after his breakup with singer Ariana Grande and recently was charged with DUI following an auto accident.
Miller's death occurred barely a month after the release of his latest album, "Swimming." He was preparing to embark on a tour that would have brought him back to his hometown in November to play the Petersen Events Center.
