Two bands with dozens of hits to their credit have embarked on a co-headlining tour this summer. Chicago, which has been around for half a century, is known for songs such as "Just You and Me," "Saturday In The Park" and "Feeling Stronger Every Day." REO Speedwagon's catalog includes "Keep On Lovin' You," "Roll With The Changes" and "Time For Me To Fly."

Chicago's most recent appearance in Pittsburgh was last August at PNC Park. REO Speedwagon last played here in July 2016 at KeyBank Pavilion.

Chicago-REO Speedwagon tickets start at $29.

Boy George and Culture Club, July 29, 7 p.m., Stage AE, North Shore.

This promises to be a great night for fans of ‘80s music. Boy George and Culture Club, who topped the charts with hits such as “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?” and “Karma Chameleon” will be joined by the Tom Bailey. Who is he, you ask? Merely a member of another top-selling ‘80s bands, the Thompson Twins - which actually was a trio, perplexingly enough.

Boy George and Culture Club tickets start at $35.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. New York Mets, July 26-28, 7:05 p.m.; July 29, 1:35 p.m., PNC Park

Here’s two things you never thought would be mentioned in the same sentence this year: “Pirates” and “hottest team in baseball.” But that’s what the Bucs have valiantly played themselves back to a respectably mediocre record over the past two weeks. Friday is Faith Night, in which after the game manager Clint Hurdle and Pirates players share personal experiences with how their faith has impacted both their lives. There’s a Zambelli fireworks display Saturday and Sunday is Kids’ Pirates Hulk Bobblehead Day.

Pirates-Mets tickets start at $19.
