Sandwiches Recalled Due To Listeria Concerns
The sandwiches were shipped to retailers throughout Pennsylvania earlier this month.

Two brands of sandwiches sold in Pennsylvania have been recalled because of a potential listeria risk, the federal Food & Drug Administration announced.
Lipari Foods has voluntarily recalled Premo Brand and Fresh Grab turkey and swiss submarine sandwiches produced and packaged by sister company JLM.
Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
