New SouthSide Works Entertainment Venue Opening
Pins Mechanical and the companion 16-Bit Bar + Arcade will debut this week.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The building housing the former Claddagh bar and two other retail spaces have been transformed into Pins Mechanical, a new entertainment venue. Columbus-based Rise Brands is bringing the concept to Pittsburgh, along with 16-Bit Bar + Arcade.
Both will open their doors on Thursday.
The new venues are located adjacent to the former SouthSide Works Cinemas, most of which is being converted into office space and will be branded as Box Office.

Pins will occupy about 30,000 square feet near the former movie theater. How large is that compared to similar venues in Pittsburgh? Dave & Buster's in The Block Northway in Ross is about 40,000 square feet, while the Dave & Buster's at The Waterfront is approximately 50,000 square feet.
