Steelers Make Trade For Help On Offense

The Steelers traded away another 2020 draft pick in the deal.

PITTSBURGH, PA - With Vance McDonald possibly out of the lineup for a while with a shoulder injury, the Steelers are acquiring tight end Nick Vannett, according to multiple reports. The deal has not been officially announced.

The Steelers will send a 2020 fifth-round pick to the Seahawks in the trade. The team last week dealt away its first-round selection next year to obtain defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick from the Miami Dolphins.

McDonald injured his shoulder in the Steelers' 24-20 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. According to the NFL Network's Ian Rappaport, McDonald isn't expected to miss significant time.
