Steelers To Retain Embattled Offensive Coordinator Matt Canada: Report
In news most Steelers fans won't like after viewing the team's relatively inept offense, Matt Canada apparently will be back in 2023.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Forget about Matt Canada going anywhere. After two seasons in which the Steelers' offense largely was inept, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette he will return as the team's offensive coordinator in 2023.
There has been no official announcement on Canada's return by the team, as coach Mike Tomlin has been absent from Steelers offices this week dealing with a personal matter. Even when Tomlin returns, the team typically does not formally announce when an assistant coach is staying with the team.
Canada, 50, replaced Randy Fichtner following the 2020 season. Since then, the Steelers' ultraconservative offense has been mostly, well, offensive.

This season, the Steelers were 26th in the NFL in scoring. They were 24th in passing and 16th in rushing.
Fans and sports talk show hosts repeatedly have called for Canada's ouster, but Tomlin refused to give in to those demands. Steelers rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett also was supportive of Canada this season.
