Tropical Storm Nicole Remnants Could Trigger Pittsburgh Flooding
Downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm, Nicole still is expected to drop considerable rainfall in Western Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Prepare for a soaker, Pittsburgh.
Hurricane Nicole already has been downgraded to a tropical storm, but its remnants definitely will impact Southwestern Pennsylvania. State College-based AccuWeather predicts that two to four inches could fall between 5 a.m. and midnight on Friday.
The National Weather Service is more conservative in its rainfall estimates, but still predicts the possibility of localized flooding on Friday.

The Weather Channel predicts as much as two inches of rain will fall.
After Nicole's exit, expect considerably colder temperatures. The high on Saturday only is expected to be around 49 degrees; the high on Sunday is expected to top out at around 40.
