UPMC CEO Jeffrey Romoff Made $8.5 Million In Fiscal '18

Romoff was one of nearly three dozen UPMC workers who made at least $1 million in fiscal 2018.

PITTSBURGH, PA - UPMC CEO Jeffrey Romoff's fiscal 2018 compensation topped $8.5 million, a $2.4 million increase over what he received the previous year. Romoff was one of 33 UPMC employees who received more than $1 million in total compensation for the fiscal year.

UPMC disclosed the salary information Thursday in its annual Internal Revenue Service Form 990 that all nonprofit organizations are required to file.

  • Diane Holder, president of UPMC Health Plan, $3.5 million.
  • David Farner, chief strategic and transformation officer, $3.3 million.
  • Steven Shapiro, chief medical and scientific officer, $3.1 million.
  • Dr. James Luketich, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine cardiothoracic surgery department chairman, $2.5 million.
  • Rob DeMichiei, executive vice president and chief financial officer, $2.3 million.
  • Gregory Peaslee, executive vice president and chief administrative officer, $2.2 million.
  • C. Talbot Heppenstall Jr., executive vice president and treasurer, $2.2 million.
  • Leslie Davis, senior vice president and chief operating officer, $2.2 million.
  • Charles Bogosta, executive vice president, $2.1 million.
