Veteran Pittsburgh DJ New 3WS Midday Host

A familiar voice in Pittsburgh radio will handle the afternoon drive shift at one of Pittsburgh's most popular radio stations.

PITTSBURGH, PA — 3WS-FM has found a replacement for longtime midday host Sherri Van Dyke, who was let go last month after three decades at the station. Tall Cathy from 3WS sister station 96.1 KISS (WKST-FM) is now handling that shift.

Tall Cathy will continue to follow the Morning Freak Show on KISS, then handle the afternoon shift at 3WS.

According to a profile in the Pittsburgh City Paper earlier this year, Tall Cathy has 14 years of experience in radio. She began as an intern at iHeart Radio in college and worked her way up to an on-air position.
