While Steelers Struggle, Le'Veon Bell Throws EP Release Party
The Steelers star running back seems more focused on music than football at the moment.
PITTSBURGH, PA - While the Steelers have begun the 2018 season by stumbling to an 0-1-1 record, absent running back Le’Veon Bell has released a record of his own.
Bell, who has yet to sign his franchise-tag contract and report to the Steelers, held a release party Monday night at a Miami nightclub for his new EP “My Side Of Things.” Bell performed tracks from the EP at Rockwell in South Beach, where he arrived to find his name spelled out in lifesized LED letters, according to a release from the club.
Bell ended his performance with a song that is titled what he likely will say to the Steelers following this season: “Sayonara.” As these pictures from the club indicate, Bell appears to be enjoying his hiatus from the Steelers and doesn’t seem concerned about the team’s struggles.

Bell isn’t required to sign the franchise contract until after Week 10 of the season. That’s the latest he can sign the pact in what appears will be his final season with the Steelers before signing with another team in 2019.
