PUNXSUTAWNEY, PA - Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow this year, predicting an early spring.

He's America's most famous rodent and he make his annual appearance Sunday morning. Punxsutawney Phil emerged from his burrow to make the annual Groundhog Day prediction.

As most people know, the stakes are extremely high when Phil makes his prediction. Legend has it if the furry forecaster sees his shadow, winter continues for six more weeks; if he doesn't see his shadow, spring arrives early.
