Winter Weather Advisory In Effect For Much Of Western PA
Anyone traveling today should be aware of where the snow and sleet is falling.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A winter weather advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. for counties north and east of Pittsburgh. The counties include Mercer, Lawrence, Butler, Armstrong Counties. Venango, Clarion, Indiana, and Forest.
In the Pittsburgh area, no advisory has been issued but precipitation this morning will occur in the form of snow, sleet and freezing rain.

The National Weather Service advises to use caution while driving this morning. If you encounter icy roads, slow down and increase the distance between your vehicle and those that surround you.
