Agenda: Whitemarsh Zoning Board Meeting

Tonight at 7 p.m. the board will consider two applications.

The Whitemarsh Township zoning hearing board will consider two applications at tonight’s 7 p.m. meeting.

The first regards an application for an "LTE" upgrade at the Cingular Wireless PCS store in unit 001 of 6200 Butler Pike. The applicant wants to add three antennas that are approximately 106-feet tall, two feet taller than its current antennas. To do so, they’ve requested an amendment to the board’s prior approval or a use variance.

The second is a variance application for a couple—Louis and Mary Fresta of the 2100 block of Magnolia Lane—who are renovating their back yard swimming pool. In order to proceed with the renovation—they’ve removed the existing pool deck and are replacing it with new decking, walkways and a covered patio—they would require, and have requested, variances from regulations barring structures that occupy more than 30 percent of a rear yard and rules regulating allowable impervious ground cover.
