Our friends at the Greater Plymouth Community Center have sent another update about the ongoing construction there. The fitness center will close on June 4 as it shifts into a temporary location:
"This past week the vending area was outfitted with electric and plumbing and demo continued on the vending floor. Next week, acoustical panels will be adjusted to prepare for the new wall in the front of the fitness center. Great news, we were able to adjust the construction schedule in your favor! The Fitness Center only will close on June 4th to move into its temporary location in Activity Central. The following pieces of equipment will be removed: Lateral Pull-down, Lateral Arm Raise, Rotary Chest, Rotary Shoulder and the Torso Rotation. At this time, Aerobic classes will be held in the gym, court 4, except for Yoga and Pilates which will be held in the Preschool Room.
Remember all annual and one month pass holders are able to take basic aerobic classes for free.
During this time PTPR staff and contractor, FW Houder will make every effort to minimize the disruption of patron's fitness routine. However, there may be events which are out of our control. We will keep you up-to-date on any unexpected events."
