Neuroscience, Education Technology and Literacy Workshop
Discussing the Future of Education at 3-Day AIM Teacher Training Session in Conshohocken

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA – Philadelphia area teachers will participate in a one-of-a-kind summer training workshop June 25 - June 27 as neuroscience researchers, education technology experts and literacy experts including researchers from Haskins Laboratories affiliated with Yale University and the University of Connecticut, the Child Mind Institute and the Educational Testing examine and discuss the future of education.
The AIM IGNITE Center Summer Institute will also providing participants with in-depth activities designed to help teachers use the information they learn in their own classrooms. Afternoon sessions will feature team problem-solving sessions and hands-on learning with new technology including a demonstration of AIM’s EEG lab research, virtual-reality goggles, a global portal and more. The IGNITE (Implementing Global Neuroscience in technology and Education) Center event is being sponsored in part by a ADVIS-Edward E. Ford Transformative Models for Independent School Sustainability grant, a matching grant which supports collaboration for financial sustainability among independent school.
