Plymouth Council to Hold Public Hearing on Ridge Park Hotel Proposal
Council devotes 30 minutes before September 4th meeting.
Plymouth Township Council will hold a public hearing next month to discuss a proposal to build a hotel near Ridge Park Elementary. According to an e-mail sent by councilwoman Maria Riccobono-Weidinger, council will hold the hearing on Tuesday, September 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the townships building's auditorium.
The hearing will give residents an opportunity to voice their thoughts on the proposal, whether in opposition or support, and "enable Plymouth Council to make a complete, informed decision with our residents input," the e-mail said.
Council also hopes to have design plans on exhibit to give residents a sense of how the proposal might impact the nearby school and residential neighborhoods.
The hearing precedes a regularly scheduled Plymouth Council workshop meeting, which does not allow for public comment, at 7 p.m.
