Plymouth Twp. Road Construction Updates for April 23-28

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has released its weekly construction update for work on the "NE Extension Reconstruction and Widening Project" from the Mid-County Interchange to Berks Road.

According to the release, general impacts to the following areas include excavating, fence installation, clearing, stump grinding, crushing rock and hauling. Neighborhoods adjacent to the areas may experience "minimal noise impacts," the release says.

Walton Rd., Fountain Rd., Allandale Rd., Colton Dr., Loretta Ln., Timberfare Cr., Jolly Rd.
Excavating for mainline and installing retaining walls and sound barriers Monday, April 23 through Saturday, April 28 with shifts 24 hours a day.

Walton Rd., Apollo Rd., Township Line Rd.
Excavating mainline Monday, April 23 through Saturday, April 28 with shifts 24 hours a day.

Union Meeting Rd., Jolly Rd.
Preparing subgrade, placing subbase, and installing underdrain Monday, April 23 through Saturday, April 28 with shifts 24 hours a day.

Hickory Road Mainline Bridge
Construction Monday, April 23 through Saturday, April 28 from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Township Line Road Mainline Bridge
Construction Monday, April 23 through Friday, April 27 from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
