Poll: Should Plymouth Township Accept the Hotel Proposal?
Plymouth Council has decision to make on offer from developer Prime Hotels.

As reported by Patch, developer Prime Hotels offered Plymouth Township a new proposal to construct a 110-room hotel on a lot adjacent to Ridge Park Elementary in Plymouth Meeting. The developer also offered to settle a current appeal before the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, and threatened to file a second law suit should the settlement be rejected and the court uphold a December Zoning Hearing Board decision.
Township officials and residents have expressed concern over the proximity of the hotel to the elementary school and nearby residential neighborhoods. The developer has made changes to its proposal to accommodate these concerns, including moving the building away from nearby neighborhoods and offering to construct two fences. Prime Hotels also offered to dedicate 2.5 acres of open space to the township or elementary to act as a buffer.
What do you think of the proposal? Should Township Council accept the deal? Vote in our poll and tell us your opinion in the comments.
