Rep. Harper Talks State Budget Turkey on TV
Joined by Rep. Bill Adolph (R-Delaware) on show's April edition.

According to a recent press release, Pennsylvania State Rep. Kate Harper (R-61) made the Pennsylvania State Budget the topic of discussion on her "Legislative Report" television program's April edition.
“The state and nation are still struggling to rebound from the recession, so we are again looking at a difficult budget year,” Harper said. “Unlike Congress, Pennsylvania cannot deficit spend, so we need to remain focused on funding those programs and services that are core functions of government.”
The 30-minute program features a discussion between Harper and Rep. Bill Adolph (R-Delaware), chairman of the House Appropriations Committee. Funding for public welfare programs and education are the primary issues addressed, as they represent more than 60 percent of the state’s annual spending, the release said.
