Severe Thunderstorm Watch Set until 2 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Montgomery County, set to remain in effect through 2 p.m. Monday.

According to an alert from the NWS, the watch is also in effect for Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties, along with adjacent counties in New Jersey.

According to the NWS, a severe thunderstorm is defined as a storm that produces hail one inch in diameter or larger, and/or winds equal to or exceeding 58 m.p.h.
