The Week Ahead: What to Look for in Plymouth-Whitemarsh
Election day and a number of fun weekend events.
Welcome to the week of Monday, April 23 to Sunday, April 29, 2012.
The day of note this week is Tuesday's primary election day, although there are really no noteworthy local elections.
It's a municipal week in Whitemarsh Township, as the Planning Commission meets Tuesday night and the Board of Supervisors on Thursday. Saturday marks the annual Township Day, and Patch will have a table so me sure to stop by our tent to say hello and grab some freebies.

In Plymouth Township, the Greater Plymouth Community Center will be holding an activity day on Tuesday to help out all the parents on in-service day. You can repay the favor by volunteering for a park clean up Saturday at 9 a.m.
Both the Whitemarsh and Conshohocken Police Departments will be holding drug take back days on Saturday, as part of a national initiative to give residents a safe and anonymous opportunity to return any drugs they may have in their possession.
