This Spring, Bring the Kids to the GPCC

A look at the community center's spring schedule.

As the weather takes a turn for the warmer, the Greater Plymouth Community Center has a way that kids and parents alike can welcome in the spring. Listed below, the township has announced the dates and details of five events that are sure to put a “spring” in the step of area families.

 

Princess Party

Put on your best Princess dress and step out for an evening of make-believe! Our princesses will listen to one their favorite fairy tale princess stories, enjoy a snack fit for a future queen and decorate their own crown and wand along with other fun crafts and activities!

  • Ages: 2-6 years
  • Date: Friday, April 13, from 6:30 p.m.—8 p.m.
  • Cost: $18 Residents/ $22 Non-Residents

Superhero Adventure

Calling all Superheroes!  It’s time to take a break from saving the world and come to a Superhero training party.  Put on your costume and cape and come share super secrets with all of the other Superheroes.  We’ll have some fun activities going on to keep our skills in tune and of course we’ll need to replenish with a “super” snack.

  • Ages: 2-6 years            
  • Date: Friday, April 27 from 6:30 p.m.—8 p.m.
  • Cost: $18 Residents/ $22 Non-Residents

 

Slumber Party Night!

While big brothers and sisters head to parents night out, grab your PJs, pillows, sippie cup and blankies and head to the community center for a night of activities just like the big kids! Getting silly, participants will play games, make crafts, eat a light snack and listen to a bedtime story. Our staff will get your little one all worn out, just in time to take them home!

  • Ages: 3-6 years            
  • Date: Friday, May 4, from 6:30 p.m.—8 p.m.
  • Cost: $14 Residents/ $18 Non-Residents

 

Mother /Daughter Day

Come celebrate Mother’s Day with a night out for just the girls.  We’ll spend time baking cookies and making candies.  We will enjoy snacks we make and even make enough to take home.  It will be a great night out for all the girls! All children must be accompanied with an adult.

  • Ages: 2-10 with adult
  • Date: Friday, May 11, from 6:30 p.m.—8 p.m.
  • Cost: $18 Residents/ $22 Non-Residents
