Township Of Whitemarsh: An Important Message Regarding Real Estate Tax Bills

This is an important note regarding your Montgomery County and Whitemarsh Township real estate tax bills. 

The Township has learned that the bills that were mailed on March 1, 2022, had an incorrect millage amount for the Montgomery County real estate tax. This appears as “County Real Estate” on your statement. The millage should be 3.923 mills but is showing at 3.632 mills. The incorrect millage affects the amount of taxes due. 

Berkheimer, which collects the taxes, will be sending a second bill for the difference between the millage amount shown and the correct millage. Please pay both bills to Berkheimer.
