Traffic: I-476 to See Nightly Lane Closures Through Friday

A rundown of some Plymouth-Whitemarsh areas that may see traffic this week.

Drivers traveling on Interstate 476 through Plymouth and Conshohocken can expect nightly lane closures through December 3, according to a release from PennDOT.

The following areas could see traffic impacted through Friday:

 I-476 (Plymouth, Conshohocken):

  • On I-476 South, lane closures will be in effect between the Pennsylvania Turnpike Mid-County Interchange and the Interstate 76 Interchange (Exit 16) on Monday through Thursday (Nov. 28-Dec. 1) from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. On Friday (Dec. 2), the southbound lane closure will start at 9 p.m. and last until 8 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 3).
  • On I-476 North, lane closures will occur at the I-76 Interchange (Exit 16) on Monday (Nov. 28) and Thursday (Dec. 1) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning. A northbound lane closure also will be in effect between I-76 (Exit 16) and Ridge Pike (Exit 18) on Tuesday and Wednesday (Nov. 29-30) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. A northbound right lane closure also is scheduled at the I-76 Interchange from 9 p.m. Friday (Dec. 2) to 8 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 3).
