Water bubbled up and gushed from a manhole cover on Germantown Pike at approximately 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, closing the eastbound lane of the roadway near its intersection with Virginia Road.
As of 7 p.m., Plymouth Police told Patch that the township's sewer crew and employees from utility provider Aqua PA were en route to determine the cause of the problem and find a solution. Police at the scene said the exact same overflow occurred at the location approximately two weeks ago.
