POTTSTOWN, PA — An upcoming public meeting in Pottstown will address "recent issues in the borugh" including a string of several shootings in recent weeks.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 2, at 7 p.m. on the third-floor meeting room in Borough Hall.
Pottstown has had four homicides thus far this year, including multiple manhunts for suspects and a bullying incident in the middle school which led to a shooting at a nearby home.

Residents are invited to provide their comments at the meeting as well.
"Please feel free to bring your own concerns to discuss with the police, or just come to meet and speak with officers," a flyer for the event reads.
