3. Pottstown councilman takes aim at Land Bank contractor (pottsmerc.com subscription) β A Pottstown borough councilman is questioning whether elected officials or their spouses should profit from rehabilitating Pottstown Land Bank properties, highlighting a 2022 flip of a once-blighted Gable Avenue home. 4. All Accept Liquor License Revenue β¦ Even If It's Not Much (travelswiththepost.com) β Pottstown will receive $2,200 in returned state liquor license renewal fees, part of more than $57,000 being shared by 45 municipalities in Montgomery, Berks, and Chester counties. While the amount is modest, it goes straight into local coffers and can be used however borough officials choose, typically to support general government services for residents.
