A Honey Festival will be held at Cedarville United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.
The event will include informative activities including a display of active honeybees in a clear observation hive, and opportunities to sample a variety of honey products, and foods made with honey.
Local beekeepers will explain the important role honeybees play in the environment. You can also learn how to attract honeybees using various backyard plants, and how the use of dangerous insecticides can harm honeybees, which are vital to our food chain.

The Honey Festival will be held rain or shine at Cedarville United Methodist Church, 1092 Laurelwood Road, North Coventry Township. Proceeds from the Festival will benefit local charities.
