Another Van Seen Driving Slowly Past School Children

Wayne Elementary School notified parents of the incident on Monday.

Wayne Elementary School notified parents on Monday that students reported "a white van with a dent in the passenger side" driving slowly past the school during an outside event.

"While the van did not stop and no students reported feeling threatened, we take all security matters reported by our students seriously," read an email sent to guardians.

Recently, two students at St. Katharine of Siena School in Wayne reported two separate incidents of suspicious men watching children outside of the school.

"We are proud of the children for being aware of their surroundings and informing adults. We ask parents, students and staff to join us in continuing to be alert and to report any suspicious activity in and around school property to school officials immediately," the email reads.
