BAAR: Brain Aneurysm Awareness Run – October 3, 2015 – Registration 7:45am – 5k run 9:00am

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Brain Aneurysm Awareness 5k Run and 1 mile walk! Together with runners, walkers and volunteers we raised close to $35,000 during our first two years. As a cognitive neuroscientist who studies memory, I have observed the devastating effects of brain injury in many stroke patients. Despite their deficits, however, many patients are happy to work with researchers because they understand that their involvement will someday help someone else with the same illness. Members of my research lab and I organized this event because we want to give something back to these patients who so generously contributed to our understanding of the consequences of brain injury. Together, we can help fight the devastation caused by brain aneurysms and save lives right here in our community. Registered before 9/15 - $25 adults, $15 students. After 9/15 - $30 adults, $20 students. Register by 9/15/15 to receive a guaranteed T-shirt and “goody bag”! Virtual participant - Can’t make it to the event but would like to support the cause; register as a “virtual” participant for $50 by 9/15 and receive an event t-shirt!
